Very good hotel overall (7.7/10). Stayed 3 nights in April. Nice, good sized room. The room had a standard layout but with a very good use of space. Everything worked as it should. Very comfy bed. Bathroom was a good size. Shower was good, but the water pressure is just ok. Walls are thin, but getting a room facing the parking lot will help to reduce the highway noise. Breakfast was very good (for context, I'm satisfied with a bowl of cereal or some toast). Despite having prepaid the booking I was charged again, but this was rectified. Very nice location, and one that works well as a base for Jim Thorpe and the surrounding area. There are some walkable food options but for part at least you'll be walking on the shoulder of the road as there are no sidewalks. I would definitely stay again, as for the price paid (*** total per night) it was great value.

Myself, my daughter, her husband and their 3 daughters and his parents were staying with you. We all came to see the oldest for a gymnast's meet, however his parents booked a longer stay with Split Rock for their 45th anniversary. The one night they stayed at Split Rock was a nightmare so they checked in with Holiday Inn. When they checked into their room the staff had felt so bad about the previous experience they greeted them with rose petals heart candles and card and cake. They treated me very nicely as I checked in. Anthony Murano is a treasure. Hold on tight to this gentlemen. Our first night, our youngest came down with a stomach bug. I ended up staying with them in my room and they allowed us to stay later for check out as I could take our little one who was so sick to the meet. He pointed me to Powerade to help me hydrate her. They were so helpful at every step of our stay. Chet via text was helpful. From the water gift basket to the bubbles when we checked in which delighted the kiddos. Our stay was rough but could have been a nightmare with help the help of your staff and Anthony. I cannot begin to express how thoughtful, helpful and kind everyone was.
