I booked a room through agoda, when I arrived at the hotel, there was a grumpy woman, half asleep and not friendly. Told me that, they didn't receive payment from agoda, after several discussions and calls to agoda (by the way, agoda customer service staff were extremely helpful and nice), it was already midnight and thr angry woman didn't agree to let us check in. So, agoda suggested other hotels (I appreciate agoda team) when I informed the reception lady that, agoda offered us another hotel, she suddenly said, oh, we have your booking.... seriously? And additional anout of *** was blocked from my card by thr hotel, when I realized, the reception told me, they will release it. It was in addition to the deposit.
This is a very tricky place and I didn't have a good experience in this city.
