8 / 10Excellent·May 2025
We stayed here once before at Christmas week 1992. The town square seemed magical with Christmas decorations and lights. Had an excellent meal at the hotel restaurant then. This stay on Mother’s Day was less than we’d expected and hoped. Due to a music festival on the square finding parking nearby was nearly impossible. We weren’t informed when we booked that the restaurant had been shut down. Many nearby restaurants were closed. We settled for a place to eat that was several miles away. The room itself was okay but could have been cleaner. The loud music continued until after 6 with knockdown and cleanup lasted hours later. We may never travel to Las Vegas NM again. Not the place from the past we remembered.
