    The Orrington is steps away from Northwestern and the ammenties a college town provides. The staff was extremely friendly and made me feel like I was coming home each time I entered the lobby.

    The staff was friendly, my room was clean, comfortable and large enough, The location was great (Hokkaido restaurant was 2 blocks away). I wasn’t expecting such a large fee for parking but you could come and go all day. My only small annoyance was the cleaning staff knocking on my door at 9 am on the day I was checking out. I had had an incredibly exhausting month and I was looking forward to peace and quiet on my last morning. The staff was going down the hall knocking on people’s doors. I didn’t like feeling rushed since checkout wasn’t until 12. It wouldn’t have bothered me at 11:30. It was a small issue and everything else was fine. The restaurant was good also.

    Very close to good shops and train station. All the walkable area felt safe, and the guest service was amazing. Highly recommended if you are okay being a little away from downtown Chicago.

    I was happy to be able to snag a last minute room over new years to join some family. The hotel was quiet and well kept. Staff was very helpful and available. It was perfectly located near a lot of places to eat and shop. The only amenity lacking was a pool/hot tub if traveling with children.
