    Actually quite a terribly-run hotel for the price point and when comparing to nearby hotels of the same price / standards. Upon arrival we thought it's just the way hotels are around this region, being more rural but no, turns out it's just this particular branch because they are overwhelmed by large tour groups. People smoke everywhere, even in the lobby toilets and our room stinks of cigarettes the moment we open the door. Toilet in our room was worse cigarettes smell still trapped inside. And then at one point the toilet was stuck couldn't be flushed! 😭 Breakfast spread was so so and there are not enough tables / seats plus coffee machine keeps breaking. For what we paid, we could have gone to the IHG, Conrad or Marriott brand hotels just 2 mins walk away (that's why we could compare..) I think just paying just a tiny little bit more for the main Hilton hotel next door would have even been better (but unverified ofc).. Would not recommend this place + don't trust their suspiciously high reviews.. Been wondering if it's because tour agencies can give hundreds / thousands of positive reviews at once using their group bookings. Definitely not Hilton standards not even for Garden Inn. PS: we paid more to get the deluxe room with balcony, probably a mistake too. Saw the normal rooms being more spacious and ours is in the "ancillary building" very far away from lobby. Balcony just looks out to nothing / no view...

    I had chosen the mountain view room however the staff told us that room was meant for their disabled and so they recommended for us another room with the mountain view heard it was smaller but still considered big. I don’t know know what is the difference, should have went to take a look first before taking up their recommendation. Otherwise the stay was quite excellent, they also had a laundry room that was self helped and free of charge. You’ll have to bring your own detergent though. The sleep was comfortable and room was very clean and spacious. Might be a little pricey but for the location near a touristy location it was quite affordable already!

    “Overall, I would rate my stay 4 out of 5. Everything was good except for the breakfast, which did not meet the standards expected of a 4-star hotel. The selection was quite limited, mainly local Chinese dishes, with less variety overall, and there were no croissants available on the buffet.”

    Staff english is null. Need to use google translate thats a bummer for an american brand hotel. Communication on anything is laborious. No shuttle to Jiuzhaigou we were advised to take didi, or language barrier didnt allow for clear explanation. No restaurant in hotel no room service. Basic even for mid hilton garden inn range. Moutain view was a quarter window on a mall facing so a bit of a joke . Overall all ok but expensive for china for offering.
