    We loved our stay here. Run by a lovely team who looked after us so well. They found cold beers for us on arrival, dinner at short notice, tasty bfast and arranged a wonderful guide, Fernando, for our morning tour. Great value stay, highly recommend!

    Booked through Agoda & communicated with the hotel before arrival re our booking & organising a couple of trips for the time of our stay. However when we arrived they claimed to have no knowledge of our booking. I showed them the booking confirmation & luckily they had space. The room & the hotel was definitely not as described or shown on Agoda site. It was clean but basic, cold showers & lots of wonky fixtures & fittings. The staff were really pleasant but when it came to checking out wanted us to pay again even though I showed proof of payment. They said they don’t use Agoda which was clearly ridiculous and continued to ask us to pay again, saying we could sort out a refund with Agoda (which would not have been possible). As we refused to pay twice they eventually relented & admittted that they couldn’t understand how to claim their fee from Agoda but someone was now going to help them! This was quite a stressful and embarrassing situation as this conversation took place in front of other guests.
