Had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel.
The stay was fine until checkout. A small melted chocolate stain was found on the bedsheet, but the staff insisted it was a blood stain and demanded ₹2500. Even after showing them it faded with water, they refused to accept it and called the owner.
What was extremely insulting is that the owner, on a phone call (on speaker), told us in front of everyone to take the bedsheet to the washroom, wash it ourselves, and give it back if we didn’t want to pay ₹2500. This was very embarrassing and completely unprofessional.
The owner also spoke rudely, saying, “You are not children to be putting chocolate on the bed—you should do these things at your home, not here.”
After arguing, they suddenly reduced the charge to ₹500 as “laundry,” which made it clear they were just trying to take money. Laundry is a basic service, not something guests should be charged for like this.
In the end, we paid just to avoid further hassle. Not recommended, especially for couples. Also, parking is poor and unsafe.
