    When we arrived at this hotel, the owner tried to sell us tours straight away stupid us booked. One found out later we could’ve got it for half price. What she charged this the room was upstairs so we had to carry our suitcases upstairs. We had no hot water for two days. Breakfast was very boring. above the doors is a glass window. So the lights from the hallway shine in your room all night. We drank the two bottles of water which was in our room like every hotel they are free. Later we found out they were not free when we checked out. She asked us did we use anything from the mini bar we said no. because the only thing we use was the water we were waiting outside for our taxi. She came running out. She found out that we drank two bottles of water and she’ was chasing us for the money.

    I stayed in a private room on arrival in Hanoi and I had a great experience. The hotel also has a sister hostel a few minutes away if you wanted to book a dorm room. The room is very well appointed with a/c, hot water, fridge, bottled water provided everyday and also breakfast. The breakfast consists of both western and Vietnamese options and is adequate. The location is excellent only a few mins walk to the train street and other tourist attractions. Lots of food, ATMS, pharmacies, shops etc. The staff are all super friendly, speak excellent English and very well informed. You can also book tours and transport directly through the hotel. I would recommend this hotel.
