    Our three day (two night) stay at “Handunkanda Nature Escape” was truly a refreshing and memorable experience. Nestled in a serene natural setting, the property offers the perfect escape from the busy city life of Colombo. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, whose hospitality was exceptional throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to blend with the surrounding environment. Waking up to the sounds of birds and the lush greenery around us was simply priceless. One of the highlights of our stay was the nature tour to “Kukuleganga”. The journey itself was scenic and peaceful, and the river was absolutely stunning calm, clear, and surrounded by untouched natural beauty. It was the perfect spot to relax, enjoy the cool water, and connect with nature. The food served at the property (cooked by Ms Lakmini) was delicious, with a good mix of local flavors and home style cooking. Overall, Handunkanda Nature Escape is an ideal destination for anyone looking to unwind, enjoy nature, and experience genuine Sri Lankan hospitality. We highly recommend it for families, small groups, or anyone seeking a peaceful getaway.
