Best hotel I've stayed in, in Japan.
Walk out of the railway station and it's immediately on your left.
Fantastic art collection. Really modern rooms. Free tea/coffee/soft drink from vending machines on every floor.
Public bath - onsen - with outdoor tubs and indoor bath pool. Wonderful.
Very modern rooms, with excellent bright lighting easily adjusted by remote control.
As a foreigner, the electric slipper sanitiser and humidifier seem a bit over the top, but I guess the Japanese must like these things. Humidifiers seem to be in most hotels.
I didn't do breakfast. But the art in the rooms and outside the rooms is really quite impressive for a hotel in what is not a mainstream Japanese location.
Town is also quite nice. Lovely walk to the port where you can mooch about all the old houses.
Not much in the way of places to eat in the evening. Maybe I just didn't know where to go?

Had 2 nights stay. Clean and big enough for me. It's just next to the station. So it's convenient when coming in from Yamaguchi and the train station is next to it, so convenient too. The loop bus makes a stop at the station too. The only inconvenience I can think of is food. Most of the restaurants are within town centre, eat before returning to hotel. I also did not see any convenience store nearby.
