What I liked: I really can't emphasize how great the staff is. They made us feel welcome, safe, and ready to begin enjoying nature. The campus is BEAUTIFUL with ample wildlife viewing without even leaving the resort. The food was terrific, as was the bar. The room was comfortable and we were surprised to have reliable hot water. The proximity to Hwange Park is unparalleled. Nice, sturdy mosquito nets.
My only gripe: no wifi in the room, although it's reliable at reception.
This is a stellar operation and a beautiful experience.

I will definitely recommend Gwango. My experience there was a memorable one. The food was great, the staff is very professional and friendly. However my only complaint would be the shower in our room , the water had no pressure but besides tht evthng was perfect and clean .. the resort itself is beautiful

This is my favourite Accommodation Site in and around Hwange Main Camp. The lodges are lovely and the site is kept scrupulously clean. Expect wildlife roaming around the camp with Elephants drinking from the waterhole and comically from the first floor plunge pool with their vacuum like trunks! The night game drive is worth doing and generally the guides are excellent. The food is tasty although the menu is limited if you are staying more than a day or two. Overall it's a great place and by far the best value around!

Mosquito canopy rickety and too small for the bed
No overhead fans so room very hot, must be hell in Summer
Pillows too large and very uncomfortable
