    location is a bit peripheral but still the amenities and thoughtful staff makes up for it! the swimming pool was unfortunately getting repaired during my stay but still, everything else was really really good... I stayed at a different hotel a few years ago during COVID and it had a really rancid smell despite it being 4 stars. But this place h1 really was much cleaner and better. Thank you for giving me a good room view as well!!

    Overall, a good option depending on what you’re looking for, but there are a few things worth knowing before booking. Pros Large, very clean room with a comfortable bed Nice views Spacious and comfortable overall Very large, well-equipped fitness center, especially impressive compared with some higher-end hotels Short drive to U Square Bus Terminal, which is convenient if you are traveling by intercity bus Cons Location: If you want to stay downtown with shops and restaurants within walking distance, this is not the best fit. You’ll need to take a taxi or bus to get to the main downtown area. Arrival/check-in: When we arrived, there was no one at the front desk. We arrived before check-in time and simply wanted to leave our bags, but there was no one available to assist us. If you cannot make international calls and do not have a local phone number, you may not be able to contact the hotel and ask someone to come and greet you. The check-in time is also 4 PM (16:00), which is quite late compared with many hotels. Housekeeping: Housekeeping needs to be requested every single day. You cannot request in advance for your room to be cleaned throughout your stay. Despite displaying the “Please Make Up Room” sign, our room was not cleaned. We were later told that guests must inform the concierge before 2 PM each day if they want their room cleaned. This was not explained at check-in. Pool: The pool costs extra and must be paid for separately each day. It is only open in the afternoon, not in the morning. Breakfast: No Western-style breakfast is available on site, which is worth knowing if that is important to you. Laundry: The laundry facility is in the basement and is not particularly welcoming or self-explanatory. Communication with staff was also difficult, so we did not use it. Bottom line: If a spacious, clean room, nice views, a great fitness center, and convenient access to U Square Bus Terminal are your priorities, this could be a good fit. If you want to be in the middle of downtown with shops and restaurants within walking distance, or value flexible check-in and clearly communicated services, the points above are worth taking into account.
