The location is marvellous. Staff were well behaved. Particularly manager was very caring. Only problem was entrance for which they have permanently provided hill cart.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Though the name suggest a resort, it is nothing but a hut with a few rooms. You can expect the standard of a homestay but it is definitely not a resort not even a hotel. Buffet spread for breakfast hardly has five items - poha, bread, omelette/boiled egg, upma and Parathas. This is not bad but nothing compared to the premium price they are commanding not even close to a normal hotel. Room is ok in terms of space and colour and finishing but not in terms of convenience. We liked the room heater and the electrically heated bed but did not like to fact that the bathroom does not have a air passage out and it stinks horribly inside the room due to the smell coming from the bathroom cum toilet. Liked the snacks options and the timely service from the kitchen. Bilal was extremely punctual and helping. With all this said, here comes the horrible part -getting into the hotel and getting out. The hotel has no arrangement of taking the guests up to their place. There is a very steep winding narrow path up to the hotel from the main road that can only be approached by pony or by walk. The walk is challenging for people like us who live in the plains and have not encountered mountain like this before. Specially, with family, parents and kids with us, this hotel is definitely a very very bad choice. It was raining and the road was slippery like hell. The pony service was bad and in spite repeated requests to take the luggage safely they broke the handles of my trolley bag as they hung the 15 kg trolley bag by tying rope with the handle of the bag instead of wrapping the rope around the bag when they put the luggage hanging by the side of the horse. We had to deal with a heavy broken trolley bag for the rest of our trip which made our life miserable. The manager of the hotel had been lying throughout to us regarding the transportation arrangement to and from the road to the hotel. He forced dad to sit on a chair and made his staff carry the chair along the mud road with his staff boys falling here and there and dad somehow holding on to the plastic chair. Wife and mom fell multiple times on the mud road and injured themselves in hip and hand as there was no one who could provide enough support. The staff is not to blame, but the management is horrible. Upon repeated requests the manager hired an ATV for our transport but is always pressing us to go by pony so that he can save money. We witnessed a bus full of tourists came to the hotel and seeing how we are struggling, they took our photos and videos of us falling in the mud with manager Firdous standing there with his phone in hand without le ding a helping hand. As expected they have him a earful shout8ng and left the place with their booking money wasted fully. The manager even tried to fool us by showing a golf cart and claiming it to be their 6 seater ATV which is anyway not operational because he claims it needs parts from America and they are waiting for it to be imported. What a cheat! Overall verdict, never ever think of booking this hotel if you are with family or if you care for your hard earned money or your physical safety. If you want to have adventure getting in and out of the hotel or hanging between life and death is your choice, you are in the right place.
