    We stayed at one of the loft units, with a queen sized bed at the ground floor and 2 double sized floor mattresses on the mezzanine of the unit. The AC was sufficient the bathroom was large. There was a bit of an issue with the floor drain of the shower, which was to be expected coz of the sand particles. The unit looked newly renovated too, which is why we chose the place. If you have small kids, this hotel is convenient since it’s very near D’mall and several restaurants. There’s a fruit shake stand right outside of the hotel, and the beach front is beautiful.

    Overall location is great near station 2 and convenient to many things. They have beach chairs that you can ask them to put out, and I wish they informed me on check-in. Nice perk though. Few things that need a bit of improvement. 1) No hot water for the entire stay of 4 days. Mentioned to staff and they said it was fixed the first 2 days but water was still cold. Then they tried to change me to 2 different rooms, but the water in those room was still cold. So I just ended up taking cold showers. 2) Sheets had stains when I checked in. Asked front desk to change, but it didn’t happen. Then I asked the night crew to change and they were very helpful. Even the mattress pad had some blood stains and first they said it’s ok, it underneath the sheet. I was grossed out and requested again for them to also change the mattress pad and they finally did. 3) Parts of the pathway to the rooms are completely dark at night and I need to use my phone flashlight. They should install some lights for safety. 4) Security guards are kind, but they keep trying to sell activities when I walk by (like island tour, etc) going in and out. I end up trying to avoid eye contact with them. Wish the hotel would have a policy where the staff isn’t allowed to hard sell extras, since it’s supposed to be peaceful inside. Overall a decent place but price on the higher end compared to other options. Can be much better with a little effort from the hotel management. No breakfast option either.
