    Upon arrival I asked the receptionist if I could store my luggage as it wasn't time for check in. She checked to see if there may be a room available. Fotunately, there was one available and I checked in soon after. She did mention that there was no view nor balcony but it was quiet. I'm a light sleeper and it's exactly what I needed having arrived from Adelaide on an early flight. I was pleasantly surprised and I slept like a baby. The hotel looks old but it has been my favourite place to stay so far in my travels. Its right in the city, close to transport, shops and restaurants. Before leaving I asked the staff to note down the same room if I should ever return.

    Great location, just a short walk to Southern Cross Station. Very convenient for getting around Melbourne, with easy access to public transport.

    Family room is spacious. Extremely hot though as A/C only does heating or fan mode and no cooling. Staff were helpful and brought portable cooler to room which helped a lot! Bathroom seemed very patchy with repairs made. That’s probably the worst of it.

    Great Stay for Short Business Trips This hotel is a solid choice if you are visiting for a quick business trip. The rooms are very comfortable, and the staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive from the moment you check in. The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get around. The only downside is that it is quite expensive for what you get, but for convenience and comfort, it does the job well.
