    The room size is much smaller than our N. American rooms but according to the Icelandic standards it was good, bigger than other hotels I was looking at and very well designed and practical

    It is a bit of an odd location that is out of the way of the normal bus tours pickup spots. It takes about 15 mins to drag your luggage from the hotel to the pickup spots usually as they buses do not drop right near the hotel. Also, if you stay in some of the rooms in the 2nd floor, the room can be super noisy. We got our rooms changed to another side which was quieter. If you take some tours like Arctic Adventures, I wonder if there are better hotels closer to the pickup location.
