We had a generally good experience staying at this hotel. The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and easy to approach. We didn’t experience any problems or inconvenience when dealing with them, and they made our stay comfortable.
The room was surprisingly spacious for the price. We paid a little over ₱2,000, and I can definitely say that it was worth what we paid. It was big, comfortable, and clean. The bathroom was also nice and clean, with both hot and cold shower options.
One of my favorite things about the room was the mini workstation. Since I work from home, having a proper little space where I could set up my laptop and continue working during our stay was really convenient. They also provide free Wi-Fi. The connection wasn’t particularly strong, but it was stable and good enough for me to manage my work, which I really appreciated.
However, we experienced one concerning issue during our second and final night. We started feeling small electrical shocks, especially whenever my husband and I touched each other skin-to-skin. Earlier that night, I also felt something similar around the headboard area. We’re not sure what caused it, but it was uncomfortable and concerning enough that we avoided touching each other. I hope the hotel can have the room checked for any possible electrical or grounding issue, especially for the safety of future guests. We were staying at room 205 btw.
As for the location, it’s perfect if you prefer somewhere peaceful and quiet. There was very little traffic noise or honking, and the area felt relaxing with fresh air while still being only around 10 minutes from the city. For us, however, we stayed mainly because we were attending the Tuna Festival, so it was a little farther from the main festival areas than we would have preferred.
Overall, I’m giving our stay 4 stars. The accommodating staff, spacious and clean room, mini workstation, free Wi-Fi, peaceful surroundings, and affordable price were all great. If the electrical issue is checked and resolved, this would be a really good place to stay, especially for people looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing or for those who need to get some work done during their stay.
