    The experience was very positive. The staff was very friendly, polite and super helpful. As my first time visiting Cairo solo, I didn't know my way around so I turned to the staff at Grand Palace Hotel who were all very helpful. The place itself is clean and room service is great. Highly recommend it and will definitely consider staying there again next time I'm in Cairo

    The building is dirty and looks abandoned. The hotel floor itself (6th floor) is fine. But the elevator to get up there doesn't look very safe to use. There's no actua elevator door so i was very sceptical using it. It broke down often too. So scary. The room i was in had this suspicious smell around the wall near the headboard area. Like in a butcher shop with the blood left out on the floor without cleaning it for a few days smell. It's very unpleasant. And the room is not that clean too. I guess, you get what you paid for.
