    Why do they tell you just before you stay they have building work scheduled. This must have been planned for a while but they informed us 1 week before so unable to book anywhere else. Gorgeous weather and couldn’t use our balcony :(

    We are unable to use the balcony despite the room rate is for a room with balcony due to refurbishment in the restaurant downstairs. Though hotel did email us about the refurbishment before our arrival, but did not mention about the balcony. We could have made alternative options if we knew the room is ‘without’ a balcony.

    A warning to travelers: This hotel is perfectly located near the train station and pier, but think twice before paying extra for a balcony room. You could end up on the ground floor with no view and no privacy, for the exact same price.
