This hotel was at a great location because we wanted to be east of the bridge in order to get to the eclipse without fighting traffic. It was close to Cahokia Mounds which I cannot recommend more. The staff was helpful although the housekeeping service was not very attentive. I actually don't think that the housekeepers are given good supervision. The water wasn't always as hot as I would like in the shower. The breakfasts were fair but could be elevated with a little bit more variety. For people who like to have their last meal of the day in the room watching TV, the nearby grocery store was heaven on earth. It's called dierbergs or something and it is 10,000 times nicer than publix here in Florida. Publics not only has run-of-the-mill stores but it uses its political clout to keep good grocery stores like Dierburgs and Wegmans from ever coming here. So the hotel has a lot of advantages keep mostly to its location but it's a nice enough facility in its own right
