Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Moab

We were there for a single night on July 4, the hotel was busy but it wasn’t sold out. The room was large for the three of us (2 adults and one child) and was very comfortable. The pool and spa area was the highlight. The waterfall centerpiece and the splash pad and the warming pools were all fantastic. Be warned the water in the pool is really chilly but when we went the weather was 100+ degrees outside so it felt great once you were in it. The one negative experience was the check in staff at the hotel. Check in was at 4pm and we got there at 3pm and our room wasn’t ready which happens. But the staff was very unclear and asked us to wait and he would check to see if the room was ready. We waited in the lobby and a few minutes later he put on his backpack and left without following up with us about the status of the room. So we asked the new front desk person and they weren’t very helpful either. So we left and checked out the Dinosaur trail 10 minutes down the road and then came back after check in time and our room was ready. My wife asked for help at the front desk and the agent was a little salty with her as well. Just overall we didn’t have the best experience with the staff. But for a single night, with a great rate and an amazing pool it was worth it. And we’d give it another try. Again it was the 4th of July, maybe they were stressed and understaffed?
