I will admit hotel living is stressful. However having the staff being so caring and friendly gives the place a family vibe.

Initial check in with Rashonda was good. She was kind and pleasant and quick. I was surprised at the additional cost during check in. When I asked her what it was for, she replied “your linens”. I was taken aback because what hotel doesn’t provide linens for their guests?!? Upon entering the room, it reeked of cigarette smoke, everything was outdated, you could tell it wasn’t clean and the tv screen had a blinding blue tint to it, making watching tv extremely difficult. My son and I were exhausted that night, so after showering, we went to bed, but not before checking the sheets. The blankets and the pillows are extremely thin, the bed is lumpy but the sheets appeared clean. The next day, I reported the tv issue and it was handled promptly. The floors were so nasty, we never walked barefoot but evidence of how nasty the floors were showed on the bath mat they provide. After using it and picking it up to dry, the backside of it was covered in black dirt. We had roaches coming out of the microwave while using it. I guess the heat bothered them and made them retreat from the home they had made inside that appliance. There were a few times where my son and I were met with rudeness from the front desk. After a week, we decided to check out and were treated as if we had done something wrong. It was as if they wanted us to leave because I called the front desk to advise Leslie we would be checking out and she stated she couldn’t hear me but was on her way to our room anyway. I thought I would just walk down to the desk to inform her and she wasn’t there. I go back to the room and she is there saying “he (my 14 year old son) needs to start getting that stuff out of the room. She said I don’t care where he puts it, but get it out of there!” I was stunned at how rude she was because we had done nothing wrong. And my son was so bothered saying she was extremely rude to him. He said “I’m just a kid, why would she speak to me like that?” I will never return to this hotel. And I don’t and won’t ever recommend it to anyone. I don’t give any one or any business my hard earned money to be treated badly. I refuse.
