    i chose this hotel for experiencing a stay in aristocratic vintage charm style. It's as gorgeous as any photos you can find online! I have a very happy stay, as if i stayed in a artistic historical museum. Highly recommend the classic double room or higher grade to experience, but not the cheapest one. I had a very spacious room. only the furniture and deco are vintage style, the shower and toilet are all modern style. We arrived in the hot waves, with 28 degree in the day, we were so blessed that it has a very good air conditioning, we finally had a good sleep. we also had our own breakfast in the garden and in the room with a chantellier. The 1st floor shared space/ open area is very artistic in every corner. we encountered staff only in the morning. From getting into the building to check out, it's all self service with very clear instructions provided, the whole process is very smooth and we don't need anything from the staff. We actually prefer this way! It's an amazing experience to stay here!

    Perfect, our room got upgraded, which we are very happy and thankful about it. Bedroom was clean. Bathroom well equipped and luxurious feeling product (body cream, body shower, shampoo, conditioner). The hostel is beautiful, well decorated and made the stay feel special. The location is also good and near the historical center ! The stay was very good and I would 100% recommend.

    I had a perfect stay at The Benjamin House. Station, old town and institutions needed are close. It is possible to walk anywhere by foot. Old style building with the modern details is romantic. Small windows do not cause a problem for a traveler who comes to the hotel at night. I will come back to this hotel.

    Room is very different from the one that was shown during booking. Smaller and just worse. There is a problem with cleanliness. Walls and floor are very visibly dirty. Room is cold, it’s cold outside and there’s still no heating. Breakfast is very scarce. Unexpectedly for Latvia…. Coffee is completely cold. Tried to at least to get some warm milk to warm it up. No warm milk. No warm food or drinks. That used to be a cool spot before, tried it for many years. Now it is just an old beautiful place with history, but not really clean, poorly maintained and with very doubtful breakfasts…
