Room was upgraded as I wanted a higher floor. Room was great sunny location, but in the evenings some neighbours smoked heavily and it came through. Shower was malfunctioning as it was either freezing or boiling. If I set it on warm in 2 to 3 seconds it would change to boiling. Got severely burnt washing, but had no choice as had soap and shampoo on me. I know the issue was faulty plumbing and I know other customers would have suffered like me. It did not just happen. The man tried to deny it when I brought him up. Then used excuses like no English. He could hear, see, and feel the dangerous plumbing. How would he feel if an old person or child died in the shower. It went that hot. Next morning woman said they didn't have the parts to fix it. I would have to have cold shower. I stayed two nights. They said they would have it fixed, but failed. And another issue is if one requests a price, when you go to pay the price gets changed. The lady quoted me a price for the night if I wanted to extend. When I went to pay the big man who was probably *** tells her to up the price as he wants me to pay more. The lady then says she never told me the first price quoted. I am not deaf. I was standing right next to her when she said this price several times the day before and I did the calculations. Anyways the big man in the background who says nothing at all to guests calls the shots. The price increase was an extra 500 turk a day. I said no and moved to another venue. Cheaper and much more comfortable. Why do turks always lie and cheat me? Do I look weak and simple?
I really loathe being in turkey but have no choice, and then I have to endure lies, scams and dishonesty.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Great location. Short walk to some local shops but also a short walk to the tourist areas and the tram.
Would stay here again.
