Dorm was spacious, but didnt like beds so close together. Made zero sense to place beds together as room was huge. The France womans next to my bed never wore deodorant and absolutely reeked of horrid body odour. And night 1 talked and watched videos loudly with other France woman. She placed her stuffs in every place. All over the room and washroom. The towel she hung in the washroom stinking up the washroom. How can someone not keep clean, especially with this hot weather. The sour smell of b.o, right next to my bed.
Bed is small, but mattress comfortable as can't feel springs. There are dust mites biting me in the bed. Can feel it when they bite and see rashes straight away.
Location is great, but i hate the amount of stairs. Each staircase is equivalent to two staircases they are that long. Do not recommend staying on the upper floors, and also the mixed dorm on the upper floor smells rancid. France woman likes a black room and continued to close shutters day and night. No fresh air nor sunlight. She has been there a long time. Room needs airing as she smelled up room. No place to sit if one gets up early or stays up late as hostel closes everything. Way too many steep stairs so do not stay here if you have large or heavy luggage. One washroom in female dorm and if you cant use the toilet, you have to go all the way upstairs. Happened to me 2 nights. Last night china woman came in very late and messing around with luggage and zips and bags in room late. It would have been sensible to sort out belongings outside the room. This said woman then showers late and uses hairdryer at close to 11pm? Why is hairdryer in dorm? Too much disturbance. With different guests place might of been better. Did not enjoy a black room. Shutters should be open to let in light and the atmosphere of outside activities. If she was so sensitive to light she should use eye mask, which she never did. She just tutted everytime I put my personal light on or opened window shutters. This said woman had two sockets by the bed. Yes, 2, but i came in to see her using mine, next to my bed? She owned the entire room? And, both the sockets by her bed worked

Very clean but could get a bit noisy at night because is close to the street and bars

Hotel signage is small, almost miss it. No lift, only suitable for young or people who have strength to carry their own luggage up the stairs. Staff is very friendly, who recommended a lot of new attractions not on my list
