    The biggest advantage of Eden Hotel & Spa is its location. It is conveniently situated in the middle of restaurants, bars and shopping, making it easy to explore Cannes on foot. However, the rooms are quite small and lack space, and the lighting in the bathroom is inadequate. The breakfast is fairly basic and could offer more variety. The staff experience was mixed. Some members of the team were knowledgeable and helpful, while others seemed not fully prepared to handle guests and their requests. I feel the staff would benefit from additional training, particularly in guest service and handling different situations professionally. Overall, while the location is good, I feel there are better hotels available in the same area at a better price. Based on my experience, I would probably explore other options when visiting Cannes next time.

    I stayed at Eden Hotel & Spa for two nights and, unfortunately, it did not live up to the expectations created by its photos and 4-star rating. The room was spacious, and I was lucky to have a nice view, but that was one of the few positives. The minibar didn’t work when I arrived. I reported it, but nothing happened. The next day it was replaced with another unit that also didn’t cool at all, making it essentially useless. Check-in was slow because my room wasn’t ready. I was initially assigned one room, then moved to another, which added to the waiting time. Throughout my stay, I found the staff friendly but consistently slow. Even getting a bucket of ice became unnecessarily complicated, especially since the hotel bar only opens at 6:00 p.m. The hotel also seems to have too many rooms for the number of elevators available. There was often a long wait for the lift, especially during busy periods. The fitness center is extremely small—more like a tiny cubicle than a proper gym. It feels cramped and is far from what I would expect from a hotel advertising spa and wellness facilities. The spa was another disappointment. There is a sign asking guests not to let children play or make noise, yet when I visited there were children jumping, shouting, and disturbing the atmosphere while no staff member intervened. The rules seem to exist only on paper. The rooftop pool is also disappointing. Access is very limited because it’s so small, reservations are required, and guests have to pay an additional fee to use it. The hotel itself feels dated, both in terms of décor and facilities. Even the bathroom design is impractical—the sink leaves very little space between the faucet and the basin, making it awkward to use. Overall, while the staff were polite and welcoming, the hotel falls well short of the standard suggested by its marketing. Between the outdated facilities, slow service, non-functioning minibar, overcrowded elevators, tiny gym, poorly managed spa, and the extra charge to access the rooftop pool, I don’t feel the experience justified the price or the 4-star classification.
