Our stay at the Econo Lodge in Cedar Rapids was a pleasant surprise. From check-in to check-out, the service was warm and professional. The front desk team was welcoming, attentive, and always courteous, creating a positive first impression. I also liked the housekeeping staff, who were consistently kind and quick to respond whenever we needed anything, great team of people.
The room itself was immaculately clean, with clear attention to detail in how it was maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable, one of the best hotel mattresses I've slept on, and the room was far bigger than expected and we didn't have to rub shoulders or squeeze through anywhere unlike many of the hotel rooms out there. I really appreciated the overall atmosphere though, the other guests were friendly and respectful. Most seemed to be families, business people, or hard-working contractors in town for work. Everyone we encountered was polite, respectful, and quiet. I never felt unsafe or that my child was unsafe at any point during our week long stay. In short, this hotel exceeded expectations. It’s clean, comfortable, friendly, and affordable everything I could have hoped for during our stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Econolodge to anyone looking for a solid, budget-friendly option in Cedar Rapids.
