Very bad experience. They sell rooms at a very low rate than Agoda

We had a wonderful stay at Eastern Heaven Resorts, Perumala (Kanthalur) with our families and kids. The location is beautiful, especially the hill-view balcony rooms which offer a peaceful and refreshing experience. The room interiors are well designed, neat, and very clean. Food was another highlight — very tasty, homely, and satisfying. The pricing is very reasonable considering the location, comfort, and service. Most importantly, the resort team is superb — extremely supportive, caring, and always ready to help, which made our stay stress-free and memorable. Overall, we are very happy and fully satisfied with the stay and the hospitality. Highly recommended for families and group trips looking for comfort, views, and warm service.

Good rooms and delicious food. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It’s located in the heart of Kanthalloor and has easy access to the main attractions of the area.

The resort has both positives and negatives. Positives: Location: It is situated almost at the top of Kanthallur, offering a scenic and peaceful environment. Climate: Even during the peak of summer, you can comfortably sleep without using a fan — the climate is that pleasant. Hospitality: The staff, especially Mr. Sujith and Mr. Rahul, are doing a commendable job in making the property customer-friendly and welcoming. Negatives: Road Access: The condition of the road leading to the property is quite poor. Only SUVs or jeeps are suitable for the journey. Resort Experience: The property feels more like a serviced apartment than a true resort. Landscaping: Proper landscaping and the addition of gardens could enhance the overall ambience and give it more of a resort feel. Steep Access: One of the main buildings is located on an elevated area with a steep road. This makes it difficult for elderly guests to access, especially since the restaurant is located at the lower level — requiring them to climb up and down for meals. Lack of Elevator: Multi-storied buildings do not have elevators, which adds to the difficulty for seniors and guests with mobility issues. Security: There are no security personnel appointed on the premises. Hot Water Issues: Both rooms I stayed in had faulty water heaters, and we did not receive an adequate supply of hot water. Food: The food is average — not bad, but not exceptional either. Also, the variety of dishes is quite limited. Parking: There is not enough parking space near the buildings. Despite having plenty of unused land, vehicles have to be parked in a congested area right in front of the building. Conclusion: If the owners address these issues seriously, this property has the potential to become one of the best resorts in Kanthallur.
