    I stumbled upon the dune‘s house by accident when I was looking to go to the beach and someone from Mayo recommended that I go to the Atlantic Beach. It’s really a Hidden Gem, so I don’t want to say too much but it’s definitely worth the visit. I’m told high season is summer so enjoy during the winter.

    First off you have to pay for your parking. Was there one night charged me 40.00. The room was small with more stuff in it then there should have been. No microwave. Couldn't open the bathroom door and the door going out because they would collide.

    Even though is was still being remodeled, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The staff and construction workers went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. Love the beach chair/umbrella guys. They even had beach toys for my granddaughter to borrow.

    This hotel is beautiful and has an excellent location, just steps away from the beach. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, making it easy to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner without needing to drive. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, and the hotel has been recently renovated, so everything feels fresh, modern, and clean. The only downside is that, even though the nightly rate is already expensive, you find out at check-in that the hotel doesn’t have self-parking and the only option is valet parking for $35 per day. On top of that, they charge a $30 daily amenities fee, which includes beach chairs and towels. In other words, whatever you pay for your room, be prepared to add an extra $65 per day in mandatory fees. It would be much better if these charges were clearly disclosed during the booking process so there are no surprises. Thankfully, the staff member who checked us in was incredibly kind and removed the amenities fee after we explained that it had never been disclosed anywhere during our reservation. We really appreciated that gesture.
