    Rooms were incredibly comfy, though the beds are a little too soft now and may be due for a change haha. Loved that there were tubs and due to the historical significance of the place, locals who spot you there or didi drivers are always excited to see you and tell you some story about it. Haha. Location is also smack in the center of some of the best spots to hit up in Shanghai. The only thing is, which close to 2 or 3 subways, its still a bit of a walk when you're tired after a long day. But a gorgeous walk when you're full of energy haha.

    For a building built in 1930s, this hotel is very well maintained. Beautiful and really clean. Location is on a gorgeous street. Great vibes with nice cafes and bars on this street. The staff were helpful but not as approachable which can easily be improved!

    This is hotel is in the heart of the French Concession and right next to some of the trendiest streets in Shanghai, including Fumin Road. The hotel is old world charm with great service and big and beautiful and clean rooms - and the best jumping off point to wander to the best coffee shops, dessert pop-ups, vintage stores and more. Also well located for transit and getting to the most famous sights in the city. Highly recommend!

    Excellent location in french concession, easy walking distance to plenty of restaurants and shops. Beautiful 1930's building with nice garden entrance. Service, rooms, staff all fine. Extra points for bidet toilet in room! Actually a little expensive for my taste, but it's Shanghai.
