    Getting hit on by the girl at the desk in front of my fiance was a trip in and of itself. Is that a part of a Disney experience? Can't say I'd prefer it at all, but it gave us something to laugh about.

    I wanted to feel safe walking to the parks at any hour as a solo woman traveler, and staying at the Disneyland Hotel was perfect. Just a short walk through downtown Disney and I was at the hotel. I had a "preferred" pool view and it was wonderful. After rope dropping I went back to my room for a respite and watched the palm trees blow as I drifted off to sleep for a quick nap, then easily walked back to the parks to finish off the evening. Truly perfect. This was a splurge for me, but honestly if you are traveling solo and want to be close and feel safe, the Disneyland hotel is perfect if you can afford it. Plus, generally the monorail is running (it was down during my stay) but when it is running, you can rope drop there and ride into Tomorrow Land! Highly recommend.

    Hotel is old and rooms need to be updated. We had rust and mold in our shower. Also the room given us overlooked the roof below and for the price the view should be a lot better or the price should be a lot lower
