We were exhibiting at a yarn show at the showground, the hotel is well positioned for an easy route to the show ground. The staff were incredibly helpful, the food was excellent and the bar was well stocked and reasonably priced. I will stay there again next time we exhibit at the show ground.

We were given a room in the annex. The room was very small with the double bed up against a wall, meaning one of us had to crawl over the bed to get in. The floor hadn't been hoovered and was dirty. There was a huge dead fly on the bathroom floor. The room was very, very tired. I couldn't see myself in the mirror above the dressing table it was so high up. there was only one glass to drink from. It was so noisy on this very busy road. The majority of the guests seemed to be white van workers. The car park was behind a delapidated building and didn't feel secure.
We decided not to have breakfast and checked out after only one night despite having paid for two nights.
On a positive note, the staff we came across were lovely.
This hotel can still be found on the internet as a Best Western hotel which is why I booked it. It obviously isn't part of that group now.
I certainly would not recommend this as a place to stay. We were very disappointed and have never had such a poor hotel experience.
