Deep International Goa

If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel room, you can certainly consider Deep International. Its an upcoming 3 Star Hotel. The location is closer to residential area and market place with a few restaurants nearby. The beautiful Ashwem Beach is just 5-7 minutes ahead by scooter. They have a large pool and 1 smaller pool for children. It was decently clean with some leaf fragments floating. Due to the weather the water was very cold so unfortunately we could not enjoy the pool much. The rooms are neat and clean and airy. Most rooms are pool facing with a balcony. The lobby is spacious and welcoming. The front desk manager Mr. Denise was exceptionally prompt, polite and courteous. He ensured we were comfortable and was extremely helpful towards all our needs. Our room was big and spacious with plenty of room for our suitcases and to comfortably move around with a large wardrobe and side tables. The washrooms were clean with hot and cold water facility in the shower ad washbasin. It felt like home away from home. The room included daily 2 free drinking water bottles and towel, napkins and toiletries. They were open to changing our room if we wanted another one and willingly showed us option. There was an unstocked mini-fridge as well. The TV is equipped with internet facility so one can watch their fav. Youtube channels. The room had an AC. There was a phone to connect to the reception/housekeeping. They have free wifi however unfortunately the wifi signal was poor inside the room. The passageway and lobby, pool side and cafeteria had decent wifi connection. The housekeeping and cafeteria staff was also warm and courteous. The breakfast portions were generous. We were offered options to choose from with big portions for seasonal fruits like papaya, watermelon and apple, fresh fruits juices and healthy breakfast like omlette, upma, poha, paratha, egg and veg pattice and muffins along with tea and coffee. Due to fewer bookings the house-keeping staff left at around 6pm and the front desk left past 10pm and returned to report at around 8:00am the next morning which felt a bit strange in case there was an emergency however we managed as there was no requirement as such. They did not have an in-house lunch or dinner facility however they allow to order in food from a stone throw away hotel next door or take-away food. Currently there is no restriction. Overall we were satisfied with our choice of hotel for our 2 day stay after which we were shifting to another resort close by for a wedding for which Mr. Denise gracefully helped in person to move our suitcases to the other resort. We thank all the staff from the bottom of our heart for making our stay safe and pleasant one. Best wishes and God bless.
