    A lovely and cozy hotel in a fantastic location. The rooms are on the smaller side, so it's worth keeping that in mind when booking, but they are comfortable and well-maintained. What truly makes this stay special is the stunning view of 1000 Trees right from the property. The walk towards 1000 Trees is absolutely beautiful and was easily the highlight of my stay. Perfectly located, charming, and convenient—overall, a great place to stay in Shanghai.

    We specifically requested a non-smoking room in our booking, but upon check-in, we were given a room filled with cigarette smell. Thankfully, the staff assisted us in changing to another room, which had a lighter odor. However, the room itself was rather old and not very clean. The pillows were extremely hard, and since I was traveling with my parents, I asked for softer ones — the staff eventually provided them, though they were quite rude and unfriendly at first. The hotel is far from most tourist attractions, but the location is convenient if you’re heading to Shanghai Station. Overall, an average stay
