    We stayed for two nights with breakfast and dinner plan. It was a medium size ryokan with tradition. The room was Japanese style one and basic, with toilet only. The onsen experience was good and everything was just appropriate. The breakfast set was good and the dinner was treated inside our room. After dinner, the staff cleaned up and prepared the bedding for us. We enjoyed the stay, especially the traditional ryokan experience (as it seemed to be fading out). Though the ryokan was of some distance from the JR station, it was easily accessible on foot, or by taxi (800 - 1100 yen). And it was very close to the Tenpanzai (mountain) and we did have an enjoyable hiking there after breakfast at the ryokan.
