Before I even checked in the staff went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed for my stay. They offer pickup & drop off services from the airport. This was a huge relief for me since my flight was delayed multiple times. They assured me not to worry and my ride was waiting for me whenever I arrived. Upon arrival and check in they made sure I knew I was on vacation, for starters insisting on carrying my bags to my room. Since this was my first night, I ate in the hotel restaurant. I had a fried fish/shrimp with rice combo and a side of fried plantains, the different sauces they offered really set the dishes off for me. Even though I only ate there my first night, the staff all made amazing recommendations for dinner in the area and even made reservations for me if needed. Now let’s get into the complimentary breakfast. Divine is how I’d have to describe breakfast here. The breakfast is served till 1pm, which gives you time to walk around the square (a short walk away) and explore Trancoso. Every day there was a special dish they made, my personal fav was the fresh fruit and Açai. The room itself is big enough to stretch out to do some yoga and then some. My room was tidied up for me everyday I left for an adventure. There were plenty of shopping and dining within walking distance. I was able to find restaurants based on personal recommendations from the stellar staff at this amazing hotel. Already planning my next trip back so I can stay there again. Missing you all so much til we meet again💚🫶🏽
