The shower was tiny, meaning that water would splash onto the floor and everywhere in the bathroom. The drainage was slow and there was a drain in the floor of the bathroom that water would overflow out of onto the floor. The bathroom floor was constantly wet and disgusting. It also smelt of waste which may be due to the drainage as well as the constantly damp floors and walls from shower water.
There is no sound proofing. We could hear the conversations and TV of the rooms next door. The hotel is also next to a busy road with an open air hallway, our rooms door had a gap under it, meaning we could clearly hear the cars and anyone walking past. This noise and also the lack of privacy made it difficult to relax.
The room itself is nicely decorated and modern however the bathroom and soundproofing severely lets it down.
The room itself was clean and as pictured and the host and staff seemed lovely.
