Charming guesthouse, with very nice surroundings. Pademelons and wallabies outside our door each morning, and very quiet and peaceful nature. Place had decent facilities (internet was patchy at best, but we were pre-warned). Come for the surroundings, and only 20 min drive up to cradle mountain visitor centre.

We had a lovely stay at the Cradle Forest Inn. It was clean and comfortable and we were both surprised by how big our room was! The caretaker stays on site and was friendly, chatting to us at the BBQ area. Perfect place to stay if you are planning on visiting Cradle mountain or that area!

The accommodation is in a great location and is very much value for money, for it's location.
However, there is zero mobile coverage for any network except for Telstra. There is also no wifi provided, even though the brilliant cafe across the street provides wifi until 4pm. However, it's too far from the accommodation and so you need to go to the cafe, which is run by a very lovely and knowledgeable lady.
They can give you food to take away and heat later....they close at 4pm.
Agoda don't give customer's details to the accommodation people either so if you arrive after 4pm (when the cafe is closed and can't helps you) and you don't have a Telstra sim, you will be stuffed because you can't get a hold of the people running the accommodation to get into the lockbox for the key.
