The two-story hotel stands out with its beautiful location directly on the beach. However, without a scooter or car, you are quite isolated, which can quickly become boring for a one-week holiday. For mobile guests, it is a nice base, but you have to make compromises on some details. You should also be aware that Kos is often quite windy, which can make it rather cool on the balcony or by the sea in the evening. ​Rooms & Facilities: The rooms are very small and offer only basic amenities. A major downside for us was the balcony: while it offers a stunning sea view, one side is completely open to the neighbor without any partition. On a positive note, the air conditioning does not cost extra, contrary to what was mentioned in older reviews. ​Food & Drinks: We booked half-board. The food was generally good with a lot of variety. The desserts, however, were a big disappointment: we were almost always served the exact same dessert cups, with hardly any variety and almost no fruit other than regular melon and watermelon. The "Greek Night" on Friday was also a letdown. We expected a barbecue, but instead, it was the usual buffet with fewer options, served at the beach bar. Additionally, the music that evening was way too loud and continued playing until 1:30 in the morning. ​Service & Staff: The staff is often described as very friendly, but we cannot entirely confirm this—it really depends on who you are dealing with. We were frequently not even greeted. They were also unable to provide any information regarding excursions or money exchange. You are better off looking these things up yourself. ​Beach & Surroundings: As mentioned, the beachfront location is excellent. However, an annoyance was having to pay 2.50 euros per person per day for sun loungers at the beach. This was not communicated in advance, and in my opinion, sunbeds should be included at a hotel beach.
