Coral Cay Resort, Inc.

Our stay at Coral Cay Resort got off to a very difficult start. We had booked specifically because we were looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful, but on our first day we experienced extremely loud bass-heavy music for much of the day and into the evening. However, what happened afterwards completely changed our impression of the resort. Once we raised the issue with the staff, they could not have been more helpful. They went out of their way to find a solution and moved us to a room on the other side of the resort where the music could not be heard. From that point onwards, we were able to relax and actually enjoy our stay. The staff deserve particular praise. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, welcoming and genuinely keen to help. They took our concerns seriously and did everything they could to put things right, which we really appreciated. The resort itself is showing its age in places and some areas could certainly benefit from refurbishment and maintenance. There are a few things that feel a little tired and run down, so it is worth setting expectations accordingly. That said, the location, atmosphere and the people make a big difference. Most importantly for us, the resort listened to our concerns and found a practical solution rather than simply dismissing them. Our experience therefore ended up being almost the complete opposite of how it started. We went from being extremely disappointed on our first day to being very happy with how everything was handled. Would we return? Yes, we would. And I think that says a lot about the way the staff dealt with what was initially a very difficult situation.

Great location and a good Filipino breakfast. The resort itself could use some updating, as some areas feel a little run-down and dated. That said, if you’re not too concerned about having a modern resort and your priority is a great location at a reasonable price, Coral Cay is a good choice. Overall, it offers good value for the money.

The location is nice we stayed for 3 days to nights. The resort has a pool and beach feont access. I loved that the resort is very solemn if you want peace and quiet definitely a must but I just hope that they clean the sheets good because during our stay the sheets are really itchy and still has marks on it.
