Had a wonderful stay at Coorg Marriott Resort & Spa! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by the stunning greenery of Coorg. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and well maintained, and the hospitality was warm and attentive throughout our stay and even beyond our stay. Ms. Anushka was our host and she was exceptionally warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. Her friendly nature and thoughtful hospitality made us feel truly comfortable and well cared for. She added a lovely personal touch to the entire experience. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options, and the overall ambience made the experience even more special. It’s a perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the natural beauty of Coorg. Overall, a fantastic stay with excellent service and beautiful surroundings. Would definitely love to visit again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Definitely one of the best stays in Coorg, and honestly, one of the best we’ve experienced in Karnataka as well! Hospitality: Top-notch. Everyone was extremely kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. Food: Absolutely top-notch! There was such a great variety of food, and everything we tried was delicious. Facilities for kids: Excellent! The play area, swimming pool, and arcade games kept the kids entertained and made the stay even more enjoyable. One small suggestion — the activities starting only at 11 AM doesn’t feel ideal, especially for families with kids. It would be great if some facilities could open earlier, around 10 AM. Location: Simply beautiful and very well located. The surroundings add so much to the overall experience. As a family, we absolutely loved our stay. Everything came together perfectly — hospitality, food, location, and activities for the kids. Don’t miss this place if you’re visiting Coorg. It’s definitely worth the money! Highly recommended.

We stayed here from 26th to 29th August with our toddler. The property itself is lovely, but the food and beverage service was well below what a Marriott should deliver. The problems started on arrival. One of the two restaurants was closed for our entire stay, so Madikeri Kitchen was the only option. Its vegetarian selection is thin to begin with, and when we asked for something as simple as a paneer sandwich, we were told customisation isn't allowed. We've stayed at several Marriott properties and this was the first time we've heard that. What made it stranger is that at the buffet breakfast on the 27th, two or three staff members told us the exact opposite, that they're happy to customise and a paneer sandwich was absolutely doable. That contradiction ran through the whole stay. Some staff would customise a dish, others said they "go by the book". Some said kids' meals were chargeable, others said complimentary. We still don't know which was correct. Travelling with a toddler, this is exhausting. We ordered a single cold coffee at midnight to mark a birthday. It took over 30 minutes. By the time it arrived the occasion it was for had passed, so we declined it, and were told to take it anyway since we wouldn't be charged. That was the response to ruining a midnight birthday: a free coffee. Treating a spoiled moment as a billing adjustment tells you exactly how this property thinks about guests. On one day the room was serviced and the drinking water was simply not kept. We requested it, then had to follow up repeatedly before it appeared. A single reminder is a mistake anyone can make. Needing several says nobody logged the request the first time, which was the pattern of this entire stay. Our kid was served half-cooked food. We ordered aloo jeera and paratha, were told it would take over 30 minutes, and waited. When it came the aloo jeera was under cooked. I don't know how that gets past a chef in a hotel like this, and I certainly don't know how it lands to a table to be served to a toddler, obviously, We didn't feed it. And separately, the idli we'd asked them to keep aside at breakfast so lunch would be quicker took three requests, because one person said they didn't keep any and the next one said they did. Our last meal there tells you everything. We ordered an omelette with four instructions: no green chillies, no mushrooms, other vegetables, cheese. What arrived contained green chillies and none of the vegetables. A remake was offered and came back missing the cheese, and missing the salt and pepper we had specifically asked for. If a kitchen cannot get a stated restriction right across two attempts, nobody with an allergy or restriction should trust it. A chef had agreed to make us a tiramisu on request, and on our final day he brought it up twice himself to say it was ready. It never reached us, and it wasn't on the dinner buffet. When we asked, the F&B Manager's account was that the chef had offered it and we'd declined. But the truth is Nobody offered us anything that evening. That is the second occasion on which we were told, to our faces, that we declined the offering which was never offered. At that point the issue isn't the dessert, it's that the default response to a complaint here is to say the guest is mistaken. The takeaway parcel. Checking out with a long drive ahead and a child, we asked in careful detail for bread, butter and jam, ungrilled. We received grilled bread with butter and no jam. When we called, we were told the jam must be packed separately. It wasn't. On escalation, the F&B Manager (Mr Sudipta Baidya) told us we had never asked for jam. We had, in detail, to one of the member named Mr. Vaibhav. Being told that a request we clearly made was never made is worse than the mistake itself. One staff member's solution to our daily feedback was to hand us a personal mobile number and tell us to call him directly for anything(CCTV Footages can be checked).
