Complexe Le 60

Our stay ended after the first night because of a serious security failure. Around midnight, while my spouse, my two young children, and I were asleep, another guest unlocked and opened the door to our room with a key card issued by the hotel. The room had no deadbolt, security latch, or any secondary lock that could be engaged from the inside, so there was nothing we could do to prevent someone with a working key from entering. The other guest was just as confused as we were—the hotel had mistakenly assigned him our occupied room. While I appreciate that it wasn't his fault, it was an unacceptable mistake by the hotel. To make matters worse, when I called the front desk immediately afterward, the employee insisted that my room number didn't even exist. Another staff member later apologized and acknowledged the error, explaining that the first employee had difficulty communicating. He also told me he would speak with the owner about a refund because he understood why we no longer felt safe staying there. We checked out the next morning and forfeited our second night because there was no way we could trust that another stranger wouldn't walk into our room while our family was sleeping. The most disappointing part has been what happened afterward. Instead of taking responsibility for such an obvious and serious security breach, the hotel has refused to provide a full refund, forcing us to spend our vacation and the weeks afterward fighting over something that should never have happened in the first place. Offering a small goodwill payment after a guest's room is entered by a stranger in the middle of the night is not an appropriate response. Mistakes can happen, but how a hotel handles them matters. Unfortunately, both the incident itself and the lack of accountability afterward have left us with no confidence in this property. I cannot recommend it, especially to families traveling with children.

Family run hotel. They just bout it in fall of 2024. Rooms are very clean, pool is impeccable. Pool furniture is all brand new. Well kept property. Close to all services for a reasonable price.

As 2 young girls on a skiing trip, we felt really safe with the amazing, family-owned Motel, where our hosts went above and beyond to care for our needs and comfortability. Upon check-in, they allowed us to check out a few rooms to find the one we liked best. They are in a perfect location: just 5 minutes drive from Le Sommet, and 7 minutes drive from Ski Mont Habitant. The real fire place in the room can be lit with the fire-wood. It creates a warm and cozy atmosphere, coming in from the cold. They are affordable, yet greatly accommodating. We really enjoyed staying at Complexe Le 60 / Motel Le 60! We hope to be back again next winter! Thanks again for an excellent stay! Best, The 2 Schwartz Girls

Great location for access to Sommet Saint Sauveur, restaurants and shops. Everything is about a 5-10 minute drive. The room itself was average at best. pros : small kitchenette, two beds, working fireplace, additional linen available by request, great water pressure in the shower cons: the wifi did not work, the cable seemed to be split as it was very fuzzy, leaking vanity in the washroom, no coffee machine provided even though coffee pods were, dishes and cutlery were available on request but not provided initially. They did not seem to be aware of their inventory. The motel called the week after our stay to inquire about the missing coffee machine. They thankfully believed me and did not charge us.
