I read reviews prior to booking that said good things. My concern was the reviews said it was dated but I can reassure you it is a great place to stay. Very clean and great staff

Our stay got off to a bad start from the beginning. We were waiting at DFW airport for over an hour before it came. The hotel is only 2.2 miles from the airport which was mainly why we chose it. We called the front desk when we arrived, the person said he’d let the driver know, asked me for my phone number and said the driver would call me. About 20 minutes later I called again, he said oh did he not call you, I’ll check with the driver. I asked how long it would be, he just repeated that the driver would call me. 50 minutes later I had my husband call (my phone was almost out of battery) this time the front desk guy said the run on the hour on the hour! My husband said why didn’t you tell us that at 308pm, (first call) we could have gotten an Uber! Time then was 4pm so my husband asked “is he in his way then” and gave his phone number. Driver arrived 415pm approximately. We asked why it took so long he said it’s a shared shuttle with another hotel and “you guys didn’t answer your phone” I told him my phone didn’t ring, I have no missed calls. Front desk gave him the wrong number for my husbands phone. It turns out the front desk didn’t message the driver until 347pm to tell him we were waiting. When we arrived at the hotel I asked the front desk what happened he blamed the driver. I called him out on the lie about the shuttle only being every hour. There was a sign in the lobby that it’s on the hour by appointment when going TO the airport but on demand, by phone call, FROM the airport. He didn’t even apologize for the delay even when I told him I was absolutely frozen from waiting in the cold on the lower level of the airport. My feet and hands were like blocks of ice. He made no comment at all, just ignored that statement.
Next morning I brought the matter to the attention of the manager, he apologized, but didn’t show much concern. He said he’d speak to the front desk person, but his demeanor didn’t give me the impression that he would.
