Club Çapa Otel

Don’t get dragged by the nice photos of the beach club, it’s not as clean as it looks. Sun beds are dirty and they don’t provide towel service at the pools or beach. You’re not allowed to bring your own snacks/ water to the beach area. The room is horrible. Gloomy and extremely outdated. Bathroom is tiny with broken shower hose. The bed was infested with ants, as well as the entire floor. The receptionist tried to relocate us to a different room but they all had the same issues (while requesting extra charger for the different room) and refused to cancel our booking unless we paid in full (threatened that she has a scary boss that we can’t talk to), an old lady will “welcome” you at the entrance with a judgmental look not saying a word or responding to good mornings, very u hospitable. Soundproof in the room is terrible. We couldn’t get proper sleep. For around the same price you could get a decent hotel with the same views and much better rooms. We ended up paying for another hotel to get a proper stay and not ruin our holiday. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

A very cozy hotel on a hill by the sea. Just a couple of minutes down the stairs and you are right by the water. There are sunbeds, showers, and changing rooms. The sea is very clean and clear, with an amazing dark blue azure color. There is also a restaurant by the sea. The menu is a little limited and quite expensive, but the food is good. One thing to know is that swimming in the sea is not allowed during dinner time in the evening. A funny little minus for us was that there was no hot tea in the restaurant. It was the first time we stayed at a hotel in Turkey where we couldn’t get tea! :) A bit surprising, but these things happen. The biggest problem was our room for three people. Instead of a normal third bed, there was a very uncomfortable folding bed. The water pressure in the shower was also quite weak. But overall, these are small things that could be improved. It is a small and cozy family hotel with friendly and polite staff. This place has its own special vibe and charm: beautiful sea views, swimming pools, direct access to the sea, good food, and most importantly, peace and quiet.

The hotel was far below our expectations. The property was run-down and poorly maintained, and we also encountered insects during our stay, which was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable. The reception staff were unhelpful and showed very little concern when we raised our concerns. We ended up checking out after just one night, yet we were not offered any compensation or even a proper apology. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I would not recommend this hotel and certainly would not stay here again.
