It was decent enough for the price. Breakfast wasn’t good, even though I got a Riverside room,it was loud from others and geese/ducks. The breakfast biscuits tasted like paper,waffles tasted nasty too. Room was good,bed was great! Could use an offered blanket though.

I stayed for 2 nights in mid February. The hotel is on a man-made island in the middle of the Columbia River. It is an older building that is beginning to show signs of wear. The hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment, so the patio and hot tub were closed along with some rooms. My room had not been worked on yet, but there was nothing wrong with it. A bit dated perhaps, but I was just looking for a place to sleep and really didn't care. The staff were great, friendly and knowledgeable. My room was very clean and there were no bugs. The breakfast was basic but satisfying. Be sure to tip the attendant, she was working hard to feed the 75 folks, and probably more.
One caveat, I stayed on a weekend (Friday/Saturday) and there is a lookout next to the hotel. There were a couple of jerks in their souped up cars that thought it was a good idea to peel out on the road in front, even with speed bumps. Lasted a couple of hours until about 1am. Not the hotel's fault. It was more annoying than anything else. All in all, I thought that I received an excellent value for the money that I spent. Would I recommend this establishment? Absolutely. In fact, I have to return to Kennewick next week and plan to stay there once again. Except I'm going to ask for a riverside room, it's has a nicer view!!

Manager not doing their job ”
I had stayed at this property only a week before on a weekend and had a great experience. I had to return to Kennewick a week later and reserved a room for two nights, a Tuesday and Wednesday. The hotel is under going a renovation, for which I commend them. It's a unique property with great potential. However, at 7:45am on Wednesday morning, I was awoken very loudly and rudely by an impact hammer or drill. I complained to the front desk, which happened to be manned by the general manager, and was informed that I could expect to be awoken again the next day. I was degusted by the 'oh well ' attitude. I paid for a quiet, safe room and a pleasant experience. The property is not doing it's job. It is not protecting their clientele. I understand that the renovation people are just trying to do their job. But, there are lots of things that can be done that don't disturb your guests. There is absolutely no reason that they couldn't find something else to do until a reasonable time, like around 10am. And any property that can't figure that out doesn't deserve my business. I cut my stay short, checked out, and found another hotel. How loud was it? I could hear it from my car as I left. I doubt I'll ever return.
