    Staff gets 5 stars for kindness and attention. Delivered breakfast to the room promptly at 730AM so I would have time to get to the dive boat. Resort is bare bones with a small pool but great deck for food and drink and sunsets (see photos). Dive shop small but suitable. MANY STAIRS, like a lot of the Anilao resorts, it's built on a steep hill. If you have trouble with stairs, don't come here. There are no elevators. Also, the driveway is extremely narrow and a bit of a challenge with a standard car. Better to come in the daytime to navigate it. Extremely good value if on a dive vacation!

    Perfect for a quick escape with fam, barkada or even solo! Just not advisable if you have a senior within group because of the steps. The food, especially their bulalo, is yummy and worth the price. The view deck is instagrammable. Pool is clean, and you can also dive just in front of the hotel. They offer scuba diving but I went there for freediving. I absolutely loved the place as it was not crowded unlike other dive resorts. Just make sure you have a safety coach with you and your own gears. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

    The location is good and peaceful, with a swimming pool, scuba equipment, and kayaks available. However, the property is quite old and many areas need serious renovation. The room was not very well maintained. The air conditioning worked fine, but the biggest problem was the bathroom. I understand that the room is cleaned and the bed linen is changed, but the bathroom was in terrible condition. It was old, with mold, limescale, and clear signs that it had not been properly maintained for a long time. Guests need the entire room, including the bathroom, to be spotlessly clean. Another major issue was the enormous number of ants. They were everywhere: on the bed, on the floor, on the walls, and even on our clothes. The room also had no soundproofing at all. It felt as though the windows were open, and from early in the morning, we could hear everything happening outside. The rooms, doors, handles, and other facilities are generally quite old. I booked the room with breakfast included, but unfortunately, the food was not tasty. On the positive side, the swimming pool was clean, the water was clear, and kayaks could be rented for 500 pesos per hour. My main request to the property manager, should they read this review, is to completely renovate all the bathrooms. They are extremely important for the comfort, cleanliness, and hygiene of guests. Unfortunately, I would not stay at this property again.
