    The rooms are old and tired. There is a damp smell through the rooms. The pictures showed a balcony for the room but it was deceiving as the balcony was for the entire building. One of our rooms had no hot water that wasn't fixed despite asking. The others door lock broke on the first day. The staff were generally disinterested in us being there. The hill to get up and down to our room was super sketchy too the moment it rained as it was slippery. It has a fantastic outlook but I'd stay at any other accommodation in ban RAK Thai to get a better experience. I'd give this one a skip.

    This hotel is sufficient for a one-night stay. It took the front desk receptionist more than 15 minutes to find our reservation even though we provided her with our booking number and confirmation information. Not a big deal, but it was the only hotel we stayed at in Thailand that seemed unprepared. For a better, unobstructed view of the lake, we had to step outside our room. Because the bathroom had a stench and looked unclean, some of us couldn’t bring ourselves to taking a shower there. The breakfast, however, was great and plentiful. If you’re on a budget, this hotel may be okay. In hindsight, I wish I paid more for a cleaner hotel.
