The room is as adverised. On the positive side, a seaside bay is right across the street from the Chanthisma Resort. The room is clean, the fridge works, AC works, the bathroom is clean and functional. There was parking. Now, "the little things". We found our room, not guided to it. It's a good size property. At first, the electricity was not on, and we had to call for that. Later, when we tried to run water, the water was not on, and we had to call about that. Later still, we realized there were not towels, and we had to call about that. Now the worst thing. They have old fashioned doors that are opened with a key. There was one key for both me and my wife. As we left for the evening at around 5 p.m., I realized the key was locked inside the room. My good luck, room service was working the hall and she could be told instantly. She said she did not have the key, but would call the manager. We went out to Happy Bar (great place for dining about 14 km drive), and when we returned at 9 p.m., the room was still locked and they did not have a duplicate key. We were told the manager was on the way, it would be 30 minutes. I don't know about you, but my clock started back at 5 p.m. In any case, she arrived 3x30 minutes later. No key. They did an amazing job problem solving and made a not long enough ladder work to get onto the bacony and into the room. We were in by 1030. I was quite impressed with the acrobatics and bravery of the young man, but I would have paid for a lock smith and not have him take such a risk. Not related to this story, but the rest of the review, the pool looked clean, but we did not use it. And breakfast for 100 tbh was a bargain, as they prepared eggs, porridge, fried rice, a delicious soup, and you could make your own toast as well as enjoy unlimited instant coffee. There was space across the street by the beach. The room is about 700 tbh with all taxes and fees on Agoda. If you could take my misadventures in stride, give it a try.
