My recent stay at Masan Hotel Changwon V1 was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I arrived at 11:00 PM after a long journey, only to wait over 20 minutes in an extremely hot lobby with no communication. When I finally asked about my room, I was shocked to learn the hotel had given away my reserved room to someone else. The manager’s attitude was appalling. Instead of apologizing, he rudely offered a cheaper room (with a partial refund) or told me to "find another hotel"—at midnight! His exact words: "Take it or go away, I don’t care." With no other options, I reluctantly accepted. The next day, I was moved to my original room, but it was filthy: the toilet and refrigerator were visibly dirty. To add insult to injury, the staff forced me to check out 30 minutes early (12:30 PM instead of 1:00 PM) without apology. Agoda’s response: While Agoda compensated me with a small goodwill credit, this hotel’s unprofessionalism and lack of basic standards should not be tolerated. I urge Agoda to reevaluate their partnership with this property. Avoid this hotel if you value respect, cleanliness, or a stress-free stay.
