    It feels, looks and most unfortunately smells so old. The carpet might be older than me. Only stay here for a cheap quick bed.

    It was a comfortable room and my children had a room to share between themselves which had 2 single beds in the family room. Which allowed me to get them to bed at their allocated bedtimes, while I could still relax and have some me time once they where asleep. Unlike other hotel room where all beds are in the same room. It was in walking distance to the shops and main street.

    Our 1st room allocated had a large pool of water on the bathroom floor and a steady leak coming from the ceiling in the bathroom. So we reported this to Reception. Reallocated to another room. All seemed well until we dropped off to sleep and the wind outside picked up. We didn t get much sleep with an intermittant loud noise that sounded reminiscent of a hammer drill and percussion of the beating wind against what could ve been the roof. When we reported this to the Property staff they said they weren t aware of the noise but figured it could likely be a problem with the roof as it was recently replaced. We were promised a refund for our stay but it turned out that was meant just for our 2nd night that we d cancelled. To be fair the Property staff were both apologetic and understanding and, it seems at least, let down by poor quality plumbing work regarding the 1st room allocated and roofing work regarding the 2nd room allocated. We booked ourselves into a nearby hotel for our 2nd night and slept without even road noise after midnight on our Saturday there.
